Charitable donation to The Samaritans by Lutterworth College

We wanted to show this week the impact of our latest Non-School Uniform Day. Our Assistant Head Teacher, Stewart Shovlin was able to visit them this week and hand over a rather large cheque- i think the picture says it all....

Lutterworth Town Christmas Lights Switch On

On Friday 24th November, the Lutterworth College Choir and Abe Armitage, sang at the Lutterworth Town light switch on event. The performances given by all students involved (along with the talented Mr Lubkowski) were excellent and got everyone in the mood for Christmas. It takes a lot of courage to stand on-stage in front of a large crowd of strangers and perform; our students did us very proud and showcased what amazing talent we have here at the College. Well done! (Mrs Hodges)

The Canopy Gardens Project

We are currently developing an area close to our astro-turf pitch that we hope will be a lovely place for students to sit and eat their snacks and lunch. We hope to cover this area with a canopy structure and develop the landscaping around the hard-standing area where there will be a snack wagon and seating. We believe this will relieve much of the pressure currently being felt in our existing two rather small dining areas. Of course, like most schools, there is no real financing for such a project so we are looking to raise money from sponsorship, grants and other funding. We are also working through Friends of Lutterworth College (FOLC) to raise money for this project - if you would like to get involved in this project there is a FOLC meeting this Wednesday at the Coolege in the Q Zone (above the library) from 6-8pm. We'd love to see more parents there getting involved and supporting the College.

Enjoy the weekend
