Pastoral Manager

We are seeking to appoint a driven and experienced behaviour professional to join the Trust as a Pastoral Manager. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who will be committed to driving our high expectations for all pupils across the Trust and have the resilience to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. You will possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, carers, pupils and external agencies.


We are determined to ensure that all our students reach their full academic potential and develop the skills and personality to lead successful lives. The pastoral structure at the Trust is integral to this.

Fixed term until August 2019 in the first instance

1380 hours per annum, Monday to Friday, term time

plus 20 hours to be worked at peak times or during the holiday period

Grade 9: £23,399 to £25,878 per annum pro rata

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Pastoral Manager to provide effective support and welfare for students to enable them to enjoy and achieve academically, make a positive contribution, achieve economic well-being, be healthy and stay safe.

We would like from you:

To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

To have at least 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C (including Maths and English)

To have experience of working in an organisation supporting young people

To have an understanding of the emotional and social pressures and issues affecting young people

To be a team player with loads of resilience, energy and enthusiasm
