The Sixth Form experience at Lutterworth College presents both challenge and opportunity.
Our Sixth Form is a place to broaden knowledge and experience and to develop leadership skills through a variety of extra-curricular activities.
The Sixth Form was a focus of our most recent Ofsted inspection. Inspectors commented that:
The teaching and learning and the overall achievement of students in the Sixth Form is good;
- Teachers display expert subject knowledge
- Students receive good guidance and support from the college to ensure that they make informed choices which appropriately meet personal and academic grades
- Sixth Form students take on many responsibilities
- The curriculum is outstanding and offers extensive choice
- Students are kept well informed about progress and the next steps for improvement
Achievement in the Sixth Form is good. Students following A level courses achieve well and those following applied programmes, including BTEC, make especially good progress. Ofsted
